Whilst the staff were nice, we were charged £30 each for a (incredibly invasive and in-depth) credit check on us for a property we had applied for. We were told then that all applicants would have to pay for their credit checks then the landlord would choose a tenant. I've rented a ton in my adult life and never had to pay for a service for a property before even being accepted for it. Not a fair way of renting out at all (and ends up unnecessarily costly for the potential tenant if other people are chosen over them). We will not be using them again.
