Unbelievable. Pay £4k a month and had my entire weekend ruined by a shooting party that turned up, no notice from the agents, and ran amok around the property. Whilst the staff were nice, we were charged £30 each for a (incredibly invasive and in-depth) credit check on us for a property we had applied for. We were told then that all applicants would have to pay for their credit checks then the landlord would choose a tenant. I've rented a ton in my ... Read Full Review

The credit check fee before being accepted is ridiculous and not fair on prospective tenants at all!

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
