If I could give them 0 stars I really would. We rented our property from Ball & Percival in Southport with whom we had no problems with initially, but these lot of thieving, evil, lying idiots were the ones that robbed us of over half of our deposit for things that didn't even exist. They had the absolute cheek to call us liars when we know that these were things we hadn't done. Charging us £120 for a piece of smashed glass when it was already smashed that when we moved in (but no, they're 'such honest people' and it 'definitely wasn't'), £90 for chipped kitchen worktops which were exactly the same when we moved in, and seriously I could go through the whole list but I won't bother because you get the jist. To rob two, young, tidy professional people of such a large amount of money is sickening. They are just thieves and threatened us with 'If you try to dispute this we will add more to the list making the bill even higher'. I mean, is blackmail like that even allowed?! In the end we had to give in because we needed the little money we had left for our new home. Seriously though, if you value what money you have then STAY AWAY from them!

I have been very happy with Ball and Percival who acted for the owner of a house that was tenanted. This meant we had to do several walk throughs to ensure keys were in place and rubbish cleared.
