My experience with my Quickmove was not positive at all, particularly Lynda Byron who on frequent occasion was breathtakingly rude and Arragont regarding the purchase of a property which eventually fell through due to her impatience to wait for the contract to be finalised with my solicitor; bullying my estate agent to release the property back onto the market after 3 months & 2 solicitors working on this purchase, it was in the end misleading the terms & conditions of sale. By writing in an 'assignable contract' clause in to the contract made getting a mortgage approved impossible under the council of mortgage lenders guidelines & would only be suitable for cash buyers. I lost out on £1k in fees & 3 months of stress which has resulted in me also losing my rental property due to the time it has taken to get to the bottom of this contract that Quickmoves own solicitors 'Wards' we're unwilling or unable to answer questions in full due to the property being sold by a third party on behalf of the owners. When challenged about the contract, Lynda got angry & threw my concerns back in my face, using emotional pressure of the sale falling through to try to whip me into what she wanted to happen & when regarding the sale; totally out of order & unnecessary; playing me off against my solicitor regarding the progress of the sale & even stating she would lose her job if she didnt sell the property although in my opinion that might have been the best thing to happen for Quickmove. I would therefore be wary of dealings with Quickmove in the future & check the fine details of the contract; this is an aggressive & overly oppressive estate agent that when mistakes have been made that they are equally attributable for & not prepared to assist you just because of their monthly sales targets must be met.
None paid directly to Quickmove but lost £1k in solicitor fees.

21 Jan 2019Yes. I couldn't agree more. Linda Byron was dealing with a house I was buying after my Dad died suddenly. I experienced the exact same treatment by her. Due to loosing my Dad after a heart attack, I had to find a house. Her actions after I eventually moved into the house led me to have severed depression and anxiety. She kept trying to get the sale through in a matter of weeks but I was bound by the Bank and my Solicitor in terms of time which was totally outside my control. She didn't care one bit and refused to sell me the house by pulling out when I couldnt meet her ridiculous timescales which were totally unrealistic. The house I brought was in Coventry but I now live in Wootton Bassett !!

I can't fault the service from QuickMove. Their valuation was in line with other valuations and with other sales - in fact, at the top end of our expectations. The property was a park home and they knew the rules and requirements about those - which some of the other estate agents did not. Park ... Read Full Review

We asked Quick Move Properties to value our house for a quick sale to buy our new home. They valued our home at £30k below market value. Then also wanted 15% off the final figure as commission. That would have been £70k reduction from our initial £290k asking price. ... Read Full Review

Having agreed a purchase through my estate agent with this company as vendor and being incredibly excited about a possible new home. Paid for a structural survey which displayed a number of issues requiring work. Meanwhile Quick Move Properties accept a higher offer on the same property, ... Read Full Review

I can make no comment on the service this company offers sellers (although I suspect they buy from the desperate at well below market prices). But if you are a buyer and are told that this company is selling the property then DO not continue with the purchase. This company seems to operate by ... Read Full Review
