When we looked at the Knight Frank site, it talked about a human element in the world of property that is too easily overlooked and that a business that built long term relationships. This could not be any further from the experience we had with the Basingstoke office. Nothing personal, just dreadful communication, game playing on offers and lack of drive to share new properties (could be just don't have any new listings to be fair). So frustrated with them we've given up on them. Such a shame as the people showing us around houses were great. The difficulty comes purely when you try to do business with Shaun as a buyer (with us on a property worth circa £2m). They make what should be simple very complex, for no apparent reason. Had much better experience with agents from local Strutt Parker & Savilles offices and another KF branch, which in turn showed us just seem to be an issue with this office rather than company overall. Did try and tackle issues with lead guy at Basingstoke called Mark, however appeared he was slightly overwhelmed by it all and so gave up. Certainly won' be on our places to call when selling our next property.
