Very bad staff, owner of the company himself is a dishonest, shameless, unethical,unprofessional and fraudulent person. Never go with this agent. They give you false promise & will try to misguide you all the time. I got in to one transaction to buy the property. When I booked my viewing it was my condition that seller will move from the property as soon as legal proceeding will be completed, If seller agrees only then I will buy this property. The property agent gave me in writing that he agrees with this condition. As soon as offer accepted by seller; they started to put pressure on me by saying if you want to complete this transaction in 6 to 8 weeks give us approved mortgage & solicitor detail in next 48 hours. They did not allow me to make any inquiry about the property, seller in the market and buyer protection to protect me etc. I was the first time buyer and did not know lot about this market. I provided all details. After one week, there was no response from seller or agent & by the time my bank valuation was due. Agent was informed & marked in all communication that where I am. I reconfirmed from agent again that seller is still ok. Agent informed me that yes, seller wants to sell the property & happy with turnaround time. In one week, I spent £1200 pound on the confirmation of the agent. After that agent started to tell lie to me & I was really misguided badly, first he said me that seller is moving to Northern Ireland & looking property there hence changing the solicitor. Second time he said that now seller is moving to Northampton. Third time he said that seller is looking for rental accommodation.... fourth time he said that seller is looking to buy new property for himself first then will sell this property.....in all these my one month was passed & I was trying to call them but nobody was responding me correctly and they were making excuses that we will talk to seller, we are meeting him directly & will let u know etc etc... After all these frustration,I went to his office to meet him directly & then I explained him all my situation etc in detail...I told him that I know that in this country there is no law to prevent the seller or buyer to change their mind till the time contracts are not exchanged. But when we are trusting on the agent & agent gives something is writing it means lot and moreover they have some moral & professional responsibility as well. I told him to reimburse me only the valuation & solicitor fees because all expenses i have incurred when you confirmed me everything in writing. He told me if u will not go from my office I will call the police and started shouting at me like anything...... he was threatening me that he will call the police and used very abusive language for me. He really misbehaved with me. I have made my complaint against him to Property Ombudsman as well. Loss of money is fine but this is not the way to treat & talk to client or anybody. Everybody should maintain professional ethics & morality and respect also. Hopefully this will not be the case next time with anybody, I would not recommend this agent to anybody.
