Extremely disappointed with the level of service we received,when our tenants stopped paying their rent. We flagged up the fact that the rent hadn't been paid. The agent then contacted the tenant. The rent remained unpaid and eventually we requested that the agent served section 21. We had very poor service from Peter the manager. We had to constantly contact him to find out what was happening. He either didn't respond to our calls or he made excuses. ie: "I've been out on other appointments getting new business" or "I've been on childcare duties and haven't had the opportunity to call you back!" We eventually employed another professional to issue section 8 as Avon Estates were reluctant to do this. When we took possession of our home and had a handover with Avon Estates, the carpets were in a disgusting state. The response from the person responsible for Lettings was"I didn't notice the smell when I carried out my quarterly visits"! We only ever received feedback that everything was OK! It has cost us £1,000 to re carpet our house and after going to arbitration have only managed to recover £300! We definitely would not recommend this agent.

The agents fees are standard. However, after all our hassle he could have offered to refund us a proportion of the final fee.

Absolutely fantastic service from this small company! We were involved in the chain from hell & Lynne was the angel to pull us out.
