Urban Property Services

i recently moved from a property let and manintained by urban property services (offerton branch). Getting the let agreed was the easy part as they were very prompt at taking my money. I was told the property would be freshly painted throughout and professionally cleaned, this was not the case. The walls had marks on from where previous tenant had had furniture against the walls and the house was filthy when I went in after receiving the keys. Weeks after moving in the kitchen sink began to leak which took over 12 months to finally be repaired properly after several visits from a plumber. Bedroom became damp which I was initially blamed for because I didn't have the window open when it was minus degrees outside. When someone from the letting agents came to look the damp I was told they would get someone to look at it but that never materialised. The cellar had a massive leak which took over a month for anything to be done for it so there was a pool in the cellar which resulted in lots of my belongings being water damaged. When giving notice to end tenancy I was then told I had to give over a the month stated in my tenancy agreement. Obviously so they could get an extra months rent. Deductions for damages that were already done when I moved in have been taken out of my deposit...cleaning bills etc etc. The house was left clean. I would never rent a house through Urban Property Services ever again! Customer services are fantastic when they're taking your money, staff become extremely rude when you want to give notice to end tenancy
