***WARNING*** It's a shame there isn't a zero star rating option on here - so I'm going to view that star as a rusty sheriff's badge because it seems appropriate for these one shop, hole in the wall cowboys. Rude, arrogant, utterly inept and downright liars are just a few things that spring immediately to mind in dealing with them. In all my days I have never came across such a shower of incompetents as Day's. It is frankly staggering there are only four other complaints here. I look forward to the sort of derogatory, insolent, rambling rant they felt an appropriate response to offer another disgruntled soul unfortunate enough to believe Days were in any way competent or professional - which I will be quick to forward to my solicitor. Avoid like the plague.
Letting fees a racket - 300 quid just to run a check and get a rererence

27 Jul 2017Thank you Mr & Mrs Fleming for your review. I will try to keep my reply short in an attempt to provide a balance to your attack. Based on our limited but colourful experience with you over 2 days, and your personal circumstances WE declined to allow you to proceed with the property. You turned up at the property without an appointment, and even though the tenant let you in, he complained afterwards, which when I informed you of this you called me a liar. A member of staff emailed you application forms which you did not receive. You accused her of lying that when she said she had sent them. We do not charge £300.00 to run a check and get a reference. We charge £80.00. When you said you wanted the property we asked you for a £100.00 deposit which you declined to pay. We charge £80.00 per person for a full reference, conducted by an external company which you also declined to pay as you were not confident that you would pass referencing. We offered you the opportunity to supply a guarantor which you said you couldn't obtain. We offered you're the opportunity to bypass referencing by paying extra rent in advance which you also declined. You declined every option we offered you. When I informed you of this you were not happy, and now we have this unfair review. That's the short answer. For those interested in detail, please feel free to read on. You had an appointment booked for Saturday morning to view the property and you attempted to bring this forward to Friday afternoon, by telephoning us on Friday afternoon. We rang the tenants on both numbers immediately to arrange this for you. When I returned your call to say there was no answer you asked us to keep trying which we did. As we were unable to get hold of the tenants you went to the property without an appointment and viewed it anyway without a pre-arranged appointment as the tenant allowed you into the property. The tenant subsequently sent us an email complaining about this viewing demanding that we as the agent accompany all further viewings. Not a problem. You decided you wanted the property and we told you there would be a £100.00 holding fee and you would have to be referenced. - You then told us you were in arrears at your current property and would fail referencing. - We offered you an alternative of using a guarantor. You told us you couldnt get a guarantor. - That left the option of your paying 6 months rent up front which you also declined. You asked us to contact the landlord and explain your "delicate situation" to him, which we declined. You declined the options we offered you and having declared rent arrears, which you stated would be paid off AFTER you move into our property, this left us very worried about your potential tenancy. You demanded that you spoke to the business owner on Monday and I rang you as requested. You declared that Susan was a liar as she told you she had emailed you reference forms which you hadn't received. I have checked her PC, she emailed forms to you at 0845 Saturday morning, the email bounced back. I suspect the email address was incorrect. But they were sent! Further forms were sent to you Monday morning by Sarah when you rang to say the originals had not been received. You declared that I was a liar when I told you the tenant had complained about the unauthorised "viewing" that you did. I have the email from the tenant if you wish to see it. Based on your financial circumstances and your attitude I told you very politely that I was unwilling to proceed with the let to you, whereupon you gave me abuse and we ended the call. It is no surprise to read your review, I'm just disappointed that this type of portal allows people to post this type of one sided attack. You havnt posted a review, you have posted a tissue of lies which I have no alternative but to reply to.

I am really happy with Days. Sue and Sarah helped me into my rented property after I had already tried to apply for 26 houses and nobody would accept me because I was unable to work due to my health. They had the time to listen to my situation and did everything they could to help me into my ... Read Full Review
