Stay away from this agent, his a scam, liar and fraud we gave him a property with a 3 year contract, when the contract ended, we wanted the property back because he was paying less rent. 5 bedroom property which is worth �1,200 per month rent but greengate property was just paying �750. After 3 years, this agent turned round and said that the contract is for 5 years when it's not true, so we went ahead and said we would like to terminate the contract and he didn't agree, he kept on saying, you can't terminate it. In his contract terms it says that you could terminate the contract and the fee will be �300 for termination. so we told him this and he kept on making stories up. at the end he agreed for termination with a fee of �2,500. Also it's clearly mentioned in his contract that he will pay the rent every month, weather someone stays or not, he didn't pay rent for 3 full month, when we asked for it, he said, I put new beds and carpets and I am deducting the cost from the rent. I will never recommend Greengates properties unless you have time and money to waste with these frauds .
