Allsop ran our estate for 5 years - they are inept and disorganised. They dont follow basic accounting procedures (including the running of the reserve fund), are clearly in some kind of special relationship with certain contractors who charge the earth and finally they lie - regularly. We are very fortunate that the Landlord of our estate has agreed to go to a local property management company. Our boundary wall has now been fixed for less than �2000 rather than the �8000+ that Allsops contractors were quoting. Plus the quality of the work has been checked before bills are paid. We are based in Reading and were dealing with 'managers' from Brighton, Leeds and Cardiff who didnt care about the quality of what they did

By far the least pleasant company I have ever had to interact with. Contacting them takes a lot of time, they are not willing to fix things, they are rude, and they repeatedly ask you to pay for fees that are illegal. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
