Further to my previous review where I was brought me to tears after calling 6 times to book a viewing and receiving an attack over the phone. My partner and I finally got a viewing at 9:30am after booking through the Nottingham main branch. We had both driven down from Sheffield especially before work to view the house as we are wanting to move cities. We sat outside the house excited and nervous for the viewing. At 9:40am we called the main Nottingham branch to ask if someone was on their way to the viewing to be told the favourite "I'll get him to call you back straight away"; marks for consistency 6/6 call backs we have never received. 9:45am we called the carlton branch to be told again to expect a call back... of course we didn't receive one. So we called again at 9:50. Having been sat outside the house waiting for 20 minutes we finally got through to the lettings agent to find he wasn't coming because the house had a deposit down on it. When asked why he hadn't called us to let us know he claimed he had been calling all morning (we had no missed calls). When we said we highly doubted that was the case, we were told he would call now and "if it doesn't work then you have to admit it's your phone that's the problem" once my partner told him her number to dial whilst he was still on the phone and called, shock horror, it went through no problem. When we told him, instead of receiving the apology you would expect, instead we received another attack. We asked to be able to contact the landlord to let them know the sort of people they're giving their money to but we couldn't get their details. We were also told that we couldn't expect any compensation or even apology for our lost petrol costs. Please don't put yourselves through the stress or upset by using bairstow eves carlton branch. They are rude and of no help if it requires them to do any real work. We will never be using them again. No house is worth tears to go and see.

An experience that brought me to tears. Having called to attempt to arrange a viewing of a property to let in Carlton and being told to expect a call back I then had to call again two hours of waiting later. On the second call I was told that the only person who could book me a viewing was out... Read Full Review
