It's not often I leave a bad review but i am going to today! Early yesterday evening I got home to find that I had no electricity downstairs. All of my appliances were off, so I couldn't cook, do washing, use the Internet/TV and I lost all of the food in my fridge and freezer. With a newborn baby and a seven year old child - it's very distressing being without these things!! I rang Preston baker (my estate agent) and was directed to their 'out of hours' service. I called at 7pm (5 times) to see whether I could get an electrician to come out to diagnose the issue. No response from them ALL night. Then this morning I checked my email at 11 o clock...to find they had emailed me regarding the problem! No telephone call. No sense of urgency. When then asked why I had heard nothing back last night the woman told me that it's not a 24 hour service, they only work out of hours until 10pm. She obviously had no idea what my problem was, what the severity of the issue was nor that I had called them at 7pm - 3 hours ahead of their closing time. I wonder how they would feel if they were stuck in a house with all of the above!! They did however manage to urgently contact me asking me to sign a pet clause (something that I already did months ago and that they must have lost!!!). They have absolutely no consideration for their tenants at all and I will not be using them again in the future.
