I am currently residing in an NSW student accommodation, and it is the worst service I have ever had the displeasure of having: After paying an overpriced summer retainer, me and my then-new roommates had a pleasant surprise when we arrived in early September to find that: - None of the light bulbs were working, plunging us in darkness as the place has no windows (both corridors and most of the rooms!). - A broken boiler, which we had to wait for a week for them to fix. - A washing machine that stinks of sewage when it's turned on. - An Internet that, while fast, disconnects every 10 minutes and is shared between two buildings of 60-ish students, making it prone to massive lag spikes. We are seven months in, and we have reported these problems. - The light bulbs, which are clearly a light fitting problem, were blamed as our fault, as we didn't use the correct wattage. We did, as we changed them multiple times during our stay, and tried different wattages. The bulb in my room has gone out 8 times today. - The boiler was fixed twice, where they sent the plumbers 4-5 days later. After a big leak we had in the hallway, one of the plumbers' quote's was: Why did no one call us earlier?. I saw the poor man every morning for 3 to 4 days, using a machine to get the leak out of the carpet. - The washing machine still stinks. We deal with it and duck and roll out of the kitchen. - The internet was the first thing we complained about, 7 months ago, and from out point of view, they have done nothing to fix it. And if it disconnects on a Friday past 5, enjoy not having a connection for the weekend, there's no one you can call, as the ISP can legally not help you directly, as they have to go through NSW. So if you're a student who needs to finish your coursework for friday night, NSW recommends you to stop, deal with it and go to uni, since it is not an important concern in their eyes. Did I mention the arrogant service? If you're a student looking for accommodation, don't use NSW. Save yourself the hassle.
Too expensive. The rent should not be that high for the state of the accommodation, and the summer retainer was theft: he cost 350£ and you can see from my review what good he did.

Renting is always a stressful process, and NSW had made it as painless as possible over the previous three years. Sarah, Max and the other staff were always kind, patient and respectful, regardless of any issues that arose, and I really appreciated their help. We've moved on now to agency now ...
