Having to deal with these agents was imposed on us midway through our tenancy, as our rented flat changed ownership. We ended up having to move out from a flat we had been perfect tenants for 3.5 years, as their behaviour was completely unprofessional and rude. The negotiation for a renewed contract ended up badly, as they kept backtracking on their original terms and wanted to impose unfair terms (heavily in the favour of the landlord, unfairly). When we refused to sign (and pay �120 for a 'renewal') they served notice to us, demanding we vacate the property within a month (2 months is the minimum by law). When we confronted them about this they kept insisting and only when we mentioned legal advise/action did they bother to serve proper notice. From then on they were really rude, dishonest, bullying on the phone and confrontational, up to the point of requesting time/permission for 35 viewings within a week! They even entered our flat without permission on a Saturday, when we had explicitly told them not to. When we 'caught' them doing so (and there are witnesses to this), they just mumbled excuses. In a nutshell, if you are a landlord, then Harbourside will most likely do a good job for you. But if you are a tenant, then think twice. And we know for a fact that we are not the only tenants to have had bad experience with Harbourside.

The fact you lied about the 10 month contract ,, charged 5 weeks holding deposit which is illigal before referencing even commenced ,, and sneaked in a section 21 for me to sign before I even got the keys!! Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
