We rented from Lawrence Ward for two years until recently moving. They were excellent - when we first looked at the place, we decided right away we would take it and we were in in less than a week. Whenever there were any issues, they were quick to get things fixed. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and 'real' - I never felt like I was dealing with letting agents. We would have loved to continue with them but unfortunately the owners needed to raise the rent again and it was just out of our reach, and they had nothing else suitable available at that time. However if I need to rent in the future I will definitely consider returning to a LW-managed property.

Took a large 'holding' deposit' from us to take it off the market and kept it on the market. Incompetent, and dishonest, they kept asking for more things they didn't need and so we gave up and asked for our money back. So far, they haven't given it back and it's some ... Read Full Review

It was a holding deposit to take it off the market but they kept it on the market. We lost £450 and will have to sue them to get it back.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
