We have a house in the Chew Valley which I had previously tried to sell through Savills. They gave a higher valuation than I thought it was worth and showed a few people round but we didn't get any offers. Jo Tiley of Debbie Fortune gave a lower valuation but we had 18 people view and three offers of the asking price or more. The brochure was great, all the agents who took people round came to familiarise themselves with the house beforehand, we received reports on the viewings and Jo spent a long time talking to the people who made offers. It was very reassuring to have their support and expertise.
We negotiated the same percentage as with the other agent (1.5% inc VAT), and were happy with that
