As a tenant, this is by far the worst letting agent I have ever used. Took months to fix anything and were generally useless at doing anything a property management company is supposed to do (usually claiming staff shortages as the reason), yet if WE did anything that they could vaguely interpret as being against our tenancy agreement (e.g. they saw dust during an inspection), they were quick to remind us they could evict us. Charged extortionate fees for everything and withheld a large amount of the deposit even we moved out, a large part of which was for their own admin fees, even though we left the property in great condition. My overall impression is that they seem to care only about making money from both the tenant and the property owner, and don't care at all about the tenant's experience or the state of the property. A really awful experience.

15 Jul 2017I was an international student in University of Sussex during 2016-2017. We were shocked by incredibly bad service standards, unfairness and complete absence of human empathy. Our house had leaks in corridor, holes on the floor and constant reminder that not cleaning dust is breach of our contract. We have spent half of winter without any hot water or heating because maintenance guy was on holiday. Overall, this agency stopped showing any care for us as soon as contracts were signed and deposits paid. 0/10 would not recommend.

I rented a student property from Indigo Lettings in Brighton. The property was disgusting, the kitchen was tiny, not even big enough for one person, the living room was in a greenhouse attachment and too hot to sit in the summer, too cold in winter.
