Where do I start? Since we started our contract with this agency we have had a problem after the other. They did not provide keys for all our house member when we moved in, and expected us to pay to get a copy of our room's key. They never reply to our calls or emails, in fact it is near impossible to get in touch with them. They simply ignore any problems we face them with. From the start of our tennancy they have tried to scam us multiple times and charge us extra on various occasions. The staff is rude and unprofessional. When my house mate when in the office to try and speak to someone (after they sent someone to fix a massive leak and left it mid job) they said, and I quote, You are a student, who do you think you are? and sent him away. For being a company called StudentDigz, or StudentHaus, I find that is an unacceptable way to deal with your customers. Not to mention that they still haven't provided fire safety in our house after near four months of moving in, and that, as far as I know, it's illegal. They are always happy to charge us extra, for example a member of our house was charged 40� because she forgot to add 0.33p to the rent payment. It is ridiculous that an agency representing students would charge so much. I myself am still waiting to be refunded after they charged me extra on the first month's rent, but obviously it is impossible to get in touch with them as they never reply to emails, and simply hang up on you because their business is all run by email. I still haven't mentioned the state we found the house in when we moved in. There was mold and rubbish everywhere, and none of the windows had blinds on (bathroom inc.) The room doors have got sketchy auto locks, and the agency expects us to pay for a locksmith if they break and lock us out (which happens frequently due to the poor job they did on those locks). So, watch out students, keep away from StudentDigz or StudentHaus.
