First meeting we were promised the earth after that it went drastically down hill. They were made aware we needed to sell fast as we were moving hundreds of miles north, we had two properties to sell so was guranteed a discount on the charges, nothing discounted on the paperwork that had been prefilled out before he arrived ! We took the premier package promising superior pictures and customer service The photographer was over an hour late but was very nice and didn't actually work for browns. Customer service was absolutely obismal , never recieved a contact mobile number for the manager that was going to personally help us through the sales. It took 6 days to get a for sale sign up and it only finally materialised after me complaining numerous times, And open viewing day was arranged.... for two weeks away ???? The sales person finally arrived very late after 3 couples had already been shown round the property by me. She had never been to the house so knew nothing about it... we had 9 viewings all shown by myself and my husband whilst the sales woman followed us around like a lost sheep being of no help as she had only brought 3 glossy brochures with her. ( which did look lovely but nobody got one ) She then asked if she could nip off as we had it under control. Only way to contact them was to send several emails repeating myself.... if I phoned they were always out the office and had forgotten there mobile. One bonus was Ashley who always answered the phone if i coukd get through and he ended up being a go between for conversations with managers. we went into the pudsey branch to complain about lack of motivation and failed promises, we interrupted a sales meeting as we went in the manager scott tried to hide behind a wall and stayed hidden for the whole conversation between us and the office manager, it was like visiting a primary school. Property one sold straight away through myself and the buyer dealing with each other as she couldn't get an answer from the office to put the offer in. This is how it carried on through the entire sale with not a glimmer of help from browns.... very disappointing The sold sign finally went up after several emails to them ironically it was fitted upside down on one side which summed the whole process up from start to finish. Lies, lies, and oodles of lip service, failed promises galore and a whopping bill to follow.... Very disappointing and highly embarrassing for the browns staff a complete shambles I could go on but do feel better for this vent. Moral of the story avoid W H Brown at all costs. They just need a cape, horse and a mask

We arranged a viewing of a property with the Pudsey branch, I was promised a confirmation text and email, which I never got. So I called after work the day before the viewing and had to leave a voicemail to check it was still going ahead - fair enough, they were probably closed. The next morning I... Read Full Review
AWFUL. Seriously unfair. There are plenty of other agents who will charge far less, and judging by the experience we had, provide a better service.

James Eddison was initially helpful when we expressed interest in the property, but quickly became condescending and extremely pushy. His insistence that we use William H. Brown / Sequence Pudsey's in-house conveyancing service was worrying and relentless, especially once WHB conveyancer Scott... Read Full Review
Agent tried to force us to use their in-house services, which came at a high cost. Their fees were far higher than those I used for a similar service from a third-party.
