Not a good experience at all, apart from the extremely slow repairs of anything that would go wrong, upon leaving they completly screwed us over. Myself and my girlfriend had never missed a rent payment and treated the house like it was our own, spending 2 days throughly cleaning the property upon our departure. We had the carpets professionally cleaned and left the house in an immaculate condition thinking that we would get our entire deposit back. After an inspection they decided that the grass was too long and the carpets were dirty? I honestly dont believe they even visted the property as the carpets were spot-less and a certain degree of wear and tear is of course the norm in any case. they took our deposit and suddenly became unavialble and quite rude. I would not recommend these agents to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

4 Jul 2013In my capacity as Associate Partner of Greener Rentals, I wish to confirm that the review by 'jim' is misleading and our checkout procedure is as follows. The checkin report approved by ingoing tenants is used as the basis for the checkout. Any discrepancies are detailed, photos taken and quotes obtained. The grass was in excess of 12" long and, if the carpets had been cleaned, there were still substantial spot marks and heavy soiling to various carpets. Cleanliness is not a 'wear and tear' issue as if a carpet has been cleaned prior to occupation and recorded as 'Clean Good Order', it should be clean upon vacation. Tenants are notified in writing of the findings and proposed costings and if agreement to the apportionment of the deposit cannot be reached, either the tenant or the agent can take their dispute to the Independent Case Examiner for free arbitration under Tenancy Deposit legislation. Greener Rentals are unable to apportion the deposit without written consent from all tenants and this was adhered to by this tenant without a dispute being registered.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
