Even one star is too good for this company!! I was lived in on of their properties for 8 months there were in conjuction with another company called Crystalight limited everything seemed fine for the first few months then in the October my water supply was started being cut of by the owners of the shop downstairs I'd be left without water for 12 to 15 hours a day!! I found out that platinum owned the shop downstairs aswell and that they were having to pay for my water also as there was never a separate water supply put in they had been paying it for 7 years in total I decided to ring shelter to see what my options were I was told to hold my rent until the work was done I then had a problem with the storage heaters I complained to Platinum on a number of occasions nothing was sorted out then one day I was sat in the bedroom and one of their maintenance men entered the property I was not aware anybody was coming he let himself in with a key!! He said he was there to fit smoke alarms he did this then was about to leave at which point I asked him about my storage heaters he said to me he knew nothing about them and didn't know they needed repairing he had a look at them and told me well they are 20 years old and wouldn't work anyway he then left later on that same day 2 of the agents came to my door I found this quite intimidating they issued me my eviction notice I asked why I was the one being evicted when they had done any of the repairs on the property I was told they could not discuss that with me I left the property on the agreed date as it was just too much stress for me to deal with and I felt that I was fighting a losing battle when I handed my keys in I asked if one of the agents could contact me with regards about deposit and paying the owed rent I didn't want any more hassle from them it has now been 8 months since and haven't heard a thing from them that was until crystalight text my guarantor about owed rent I'm currently sorting something out with them but I will never know what happened to my deposit absolutely appalled with this company avoid like the plague!!!

Am sorry you had the problems at this property "Guest 25" however I would like to make the following points. Your property is owned by Crystalight Ltd and they were the landlord on your tenancy agreement. While Platinum Property Agents were initially managing agents your landlord is a large property owner and developer and the maintenance issues were referred to their own contractors. The shop below is let by Crystalight not Platinum Property Agents. Platinum was unaware of the dispute over the water supply with the tenant of the shop and the landlord. Your loss of water was a result of the tenant below illegally turning off the water. At Platinum we spoke to shelter and environmental health on your behalf to get formal notification sent to the tenant below to prevent them from turning the water off. Platinum terminated our management agreement with Crystalight in 2015, before you left the property, and they established their own property management department. We have had no involvement in the end of your tenancy or the return of your deposit. I sympathise with the issues you have had during your tenancy and agree that no tenant should experience the problems you had. I also understand that it is often difficult for the tenant to differentiate between the services provided by the agent and those relating to the landlord. In this case I am aware of the efforts Platinum made to resolve your issues and we are disappointed therefore to receive your review. In addition I feel agent review sites should verify the services actually provided so that potential tenants can see whether the agent is the issue or the property and make an informed decision based on reviews. Guest 25 I believe you have every right to be angry with the standard of service you received during your tenancy, it is inexcusable to be left without water or heating.

Not impressed. Don't expect them to call you back when they say they will. Expect them to tell excuses about why there are delays with your purchase. Expect the sellers to still be in the property after completion. Not impressed. The office looks cowboyish, it all seems very cowboyish.... Read Full Review
