First of all, they charge £200 for providing no service at all, their role is just a contact person between two parties, a landlord and tenant. I had many probelm but none of them were sorted. This agent is just after money and don't have try to help you. They both are just gives false promises and unbelieveably misguide you. The property i had from them was not big but the landlord was really annoying. Landlord used to stay just next door, which this agent didn't told me even i asked him before renting the property. Also Landlord just annoy you and nock the door any time even middle of the night. Lanlord lady even used to visit properyt when we were not at home. Also property had many other problem like, No shower facility, Gas would go off anytime, No proper bathroom, Unhygenic place, Lot of Crockroaches, Bed in Bad condition. When you speak to agent about the all the problems, the usual response i get from him is that he will speak to landlord and let you know when the problem will be fixed. Then you never get his phone call, when you again try to find out he will tell you that problem will be fixed by end of the week or by this week. But then nothing happens and the he will keep continues saying same thing for few more weeks. Because of my busy working schedule i was not able to take any legal action, otherwise i would have definately taken strong legal action against both landlord and estate agent.
