My Husband & I along with our 2 Sons, have recently moved to the area from Devon. I spoke to Karen yesterday to express my HUGE interest for a property that we were desperate to view and explained that we are happy to pay or do whatever it took to ensure we didn't miss out! Karen insisted that we wouldn't miss out and that we had to call back today as they didn't have the keys yet and until they do have them, they do not carry out viewings. Left feeling uncertain - I then decided to call back again about 5 minutes later to once again say, I really didn't want to miss out and I asked if there was anything I could do to guarantee we have first refusal. Once again, Karen said no, she then said she would take my number and call as soon as they had the keys to then be able to arrange a viewing and move forward with the application. Well; Surprise surprise - this Estate Agent has allowed other tenants to pay the fees to start the application process!! Karen so calmly said we are trying to help you - without accepting responsibility for completely and utterly letting me and my family down and giving false hope and lying directly to a client. This would never ever happen within our business! there is a clear lack of office communication, staff training and good, efficient client relations. I am deeply disappointed for myself and my family. However with that said - perhaps a blessing in disguise to steer clear of this agent. Zero stars!!!!!
