This estate agency is as slimey as you can get. I would definitely not recommend them to anyone. Don't even think about putting an offer for a property advertised by them. They are unethical and do not care that they are messing with real lives. We put an offer in which took days to be accepted. Following this we kept getting pressurising phone calls regarding speeding forward towards the date of exchange. When we were at the point of exchange (8 weeks from the date of offer which is average) They stopped returning our phone calls. We spent hours on hold and contacting them again. They had put the property back on the market. When they realised that we would be homeless they suddenly increased the price on Rightmove by �30,000 overnight, stating we would have to match that offer. Our banks refused to re-evaluate it for this much and low and behold it was still on the market for another fortnight so I'm pretty sure there was no other offer and they were just playing dirty tactics.

4 May 2016I am sorry you feel the way you do about your attempted purchase however I have to point out the following. During this particular sale the seller gave you multiple opportunities to exchange, however your solicitor did not act on these. Nor did they return any phone calls for a number of weeks and ultimately this is what caused you to lose the property. All information was provided to you and the chasing was merely to ensure you did not lose the property due to your solicitor's lack of response. The seller was selling the property to you for a very good price and within 48 hours of the sale to you failing the property was re sold at an increase of £35,000 more than the price previously agreed. This property has now exchanged and completed so I have to say we were not in anyway messing you around. We are here to help both buyers and seller, however our over ruling obligation is to our client the seller for whom we work on behalf of. We are instructed to ensure that they sell or let their properties for the best possible price and within the timescales that they are set. We are very active in the area of sales progressing and work hard to ensure all sales progress to a successful exchange, however although we may be active we cannot rely on this being the same for others involved.
