Awful, just plain awful. I made an appointment to view a property in Keniworth for my elderly parents (82 & 84) who wish to relocate from Surrey. I explained that my father has mobility and health issues and that I would be driving 125 miles to collect them and then travel the same distance to return them home two days later. The agent was happy to arrange a viewing but at no time informed me that the vendor had a purchase proceeding, albeit not speedily enough for his liking, and had instructed the agent to place the property back on the market. Today we travelled 125 miles to collect my excitied parents, who had mentally sold themselves the property, to recieve a telephone call mid morning Informing us that contracts had been exchangesd and the viewing was cancelled! Well, Talk about hedging ones bets!!! I would had not put my poor parents through this if, for one moment, the agent had been honest with us about the true availability of the property. The manager of Kenilworth did contract me to apologise and would be talking to the staff involved. If you want a professional outfit, I suggest you look elsewhere.
