I got taken advantage of and given false info, just to make a sale! I was 34 weeks pregnant, and Paul Frecleton took advantage of this, and told us false information about a propertt we looked at. I was so excited that I gave them moneyfor a credit check. Luckily my mum wanted to see the property, so I went a second time and found out some slightly different informatiin regarding the property, from this I decided to not go for it, and I felt very upset. I complained not just to get moneynbut to stress the injustice of the situation, but they are not even acknowledging that they could have done this, they are just saying that no one gave false information.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Been honest from the start, atleast acknowledge and apologise for what they did, and return some of the hefty credit check fee that I paid, which could help me in thr future as I do not earn a great deal!

9 Oct 2015Rowena viewed the property and applied for it immediately and paid the application fee. The property was then taken off the market and prepared ready for her to move in. Nearly 4 weeks later Rowena came for a 2nd viewing with her Mum & Dad and it was quite clear that they were not impressed. A few days later Rowena told us that she did not want the property anymore and that she wanted her money back to which I pointed out that it quite clearly says on the receipt 'No Refunds' if she were to pull out. Especially not after 4 weeks. The reason given for pulling out was she was told that a storage cupboard was not included. When we were informed that this was important we contacted the landlord and he agreed straight away and even offered to write it into the tenancy agreement. Rowena is disappointed with us because we will not give her a refund simply because her Mum changed her mind. It is disappointing that we are being bad mouthed for protecting the interests of our landlord. We have acted professionally at all times and at no time did we give her false information or mislead her.

I contacted the Eastwood Office to request two viewings of properties for sale. The man who 'allegedly' works there informed me that they had been sold. A month later they are still for sale. What agent could do to change your mind?
