Nina was all too quick to get us signed up to a tenancy agreement, telling us everything we wanted to hear "the apartment is fully managed, you don't need to do anything, just report it to us and we'll do the rest", telling us how brilliant OPM are and asking us to please email a testimonial - how wrong could we be for listening to her "cock and bull"!? On the day we moved in, Nina came to the apartment and said "oh, take your time but do let us know if there's any issues with anything". I emailed the customer care email address to report quite a few issues and was promptly told that I needed to report each issue separately through the Fixflo website. I did this. I waited... and waited... and waited. I called OPM on numerous occasions and found Nina to be very allusive, as was Donovan. Eventually, three months down the line, we managed to get a new fridge/freezer, after having to shop daily for food/drink. All the other issues we had reported were ignored. We are still trying to get four of the six spotlights replaced in our main bedroom! There's also a cupboard hinge which doesn't work, therefore bashing your head with the cupboard door each time you try to open it! I am now dealing with Daniela Troon, who is also a waste of space... I wish I didn't have to spend the time and energy that I have trying to get something done. The next step now is for us to involve our solicitors... for simple light fixtures!!

1 Oct 2015Dear Rachel, Following reports from you regarding lights not working in the property and a blockage in the pipes, a contractor was sent to the flat to assess the situation in order for Oxygen to process a quote for the landlord to authorise spend for repairs to be carried out; as all managing agents have too. Whilst the issue with the pipe blockage was swiftly rectified due to Oxygen having avalible access to a maintenance budget for general building issues, the lights were a different story as we had not had the spend authorised, so works take longer to fix along with the cupboard door. As explained in our line of correspondence, we as the agent do have an immediate obligation to carryout repairs to a property in an emergency situation. However, I am sorry to say the repair of the lights did not fall into that category, although we do fully appreciate the frustration of the situation Oxygen cannot simply just carry out works despite how upset a tenant becomes, however, in the interim a maintenance contractor was sent to change as many bulbs as possible in your property in an effort to make life a little easier. With regard to the fridge issue mentioned, I can confirm that this item was also referred to your landlord who did decide to source and arrange delivery of the unit himself, again I do appreciate the frustration in this not happening immediately but as the agent we are at the mercy of the property owner to spend money. I am glad we managed to get this resolved and the flat is now back in full working order. Daniela Troon

One of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Seeing as respective tenants pay their salary you'd expect them to have customer service pretty high on their list. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
