Everything was great until I checked out. They wanted to take £400 off my deposit for repairs that are out of scope for tenants and should be paid for by the landlord. Eventually I won my case via deposit protection as they deemed Dandaras claims to be exaggerated and ultimately only paid them £47 for minor repairs. They clearly have the landlords interests in mind and do everything they can to get tenants to pay for repairs. The deposit protection scheme also found them at fault by not adhering to basic health and safety checks, specifically with the boiler which they hadn't produced a yearly check list as required by law. DO NOT USE!
What agent could do to change your mind?
Not try to rip us off with our deposit!

4 Dec 2015Dear Sir/Madam I have looked at this review several times trying to work out where it has originated from and I am still at a loss. Working on the information provided I can not work out where and when you rented a property from us. We have very few DPS disputes and of the small number that get that far I am not aware of such a large finding in favour of a tenant or any that have highlighted any issues regarding Health & Safety. Just so you are aware there is no legal requirement to service the water heaters in the apartments. The components that make up the water heater can not be checked as they are internal to the heater itself. Any issues arising from the water heaters are swiftly dealt with by our competent, qualified, known electricians. 16 Feb 2017UPDATE ON THE ABOVE: The property in question was at apartment 404, 4 Kelso Place at St Georges Island and it was Suzanne Tomlinson that was dealing with the complaint. I am more than happy to send anyone copies of the DPS response, and Suzannes emails who told me to never contact Dandara lettings again. For anyone from Dandara looking, the email asking for over £350 can be found on your database on the 6th November 2013 at 13:34pm. Clare Hesford was also CC'd into this. From there you should be able to follow the thread and see the DPS's decision of £45.

Have used Dandara from when we bought our apartment off plan to completion. Then for tenanting the property till July 2015 when we sold the property.
