McConnell's act as letting agents for student accommodation. Having taken money upfront for this, they lose paperwork and say they haven't received it. Even when absolute proof is provided to them that they have it, they don't take action. They blame the students. They promise to return phone calls and emails but often don't. They say this is due to pressure of work. But surely if they take the money to do the job they should be able to deliver. We now have no idea when it is possible to move into the accommodation, despite all of the necessary paperwork being submitted and in some cases resubmitted. They appear to have little regard for students who are leaving home for the first time. A truly shoddy service. NB, There is no evidence I can see that they are a member of any regulatory body for Estate Agents.
