Amberley Estates' (Thamesmead) Managing Director boast of her experienced accounting back ground and "hands on" approach to customer care on their website, which I have found no evidence of, in my three and half years experience as a customer. Accounts have been unreliable: on numerous occasions accounts for rents had to be chased up despite my tenant having paid them on time. No explanations nor apologies for errors were ever given. I am still having to wait over a year for final accounts to be settle despite numerous visits to their office, emails and letters. When asked why their managing director could not even send an email in reply to my complaints, their office's reply was: her email was down! Clearly this does not support her statement " customer care is of huge importance"!

26 Jun 2018After 3 weeks my tenant has paid, I still have not received my rent and no one is answering the phone or my emails! My tenant has paid and I pay a rental guarantee insurance! Lost for words! I just need to get my propiety back!

15 Jan 2019I have the same problem here. Missing 4 months of my Tenant's rent and no one in Amberley estate seem to be answering the phone or emails! Has anyone escalate a formal complaint to a trade association?

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
