This experience was the one where I actually considered moving to a small town to get away from all the wheeling and dealing that comes in big cities. I saw a property with Charlie, I liked it, I submitted an offer. I didn't hear back for 24 hrs and when I finally did he said the owner had gone with another offer. So I called another estate agency who was letting the flat and asked if it was under offer. No, it wasn't, it was still available. So I put in another offer directly to the landlord with them. She'd never received my first offer. Apparently, Chestertons has a policy whereby they choose the

I have been surprised by the service provide by Giancarlo from the Lettings Department. I was looking for a flat and dealt with plenty of agencies, I have to say that none of the agents were as good as him. My partner lost his job whilst so we had to terminate the lease, we paid all fees and costs until a new tenancy was found. Now they are trying to charge us commission for the entire duration of the lease (2 year lease - A LOT of money), not even the landlord understands this. VERY... Read Full Review
