I was not happy with the valuation placed on my property. When the surveyor visited we discussed the valuation and I expressed my concern that it was a little on the low side. He assured me that this was standard procedure and that we would get a feeding frenzy and go to a closing date (which we did not as COVID had hit the area really bad as it is mainly buy to let for student accommodation. A similar property in my area without gas central heating and on the top floor got a £10k increase in their valuation. I would certainly never use them again, they were actually instructed by Countrywide as part of the deal as they were paying the cost.
