Went into the branch on Friday to sign up to emails regarding properties. The agent I dealt with asked me all the basic questions which were fine. He then proceeded to try and hard sell me their mortage consultancy. I told him that I was not interested more than 5 times, stating that I had a family friend who was a mortgage advisor. He then said well yes I understand it from your perspective but I still think you should talk to our consultants... Being a management student, I replied, I am a business student and understand it from your perspective.. to which he stated well then why dont you just do it then. Already appalled by this approach to customers I wished I had walked out. I asked about a house in the window to shut him up, and he said he didnt know which one I was talking about. He tried typing it into the computer and nothing came up. He asked me if I was sure I was talking about a house in THEIR window, and how much it was. Instead of him getting up, or asking a colleague (all of which were sitting discussing their own private matters, not working), made me get up and have a look at their front window. When I had returned, assuring him I was talking about a property they were advertising, he asked a colleague, who said aa mate, we sold that last month. Very unprofessional, and this ad is still in their window. Since this visit to them, which I am still in dismay that they even have a branch with customers, they have rang me during work hours. Once leaving a message, just to say hi, hope you had a good weekend, just wanted to know how you are getting on. ... I was not impressed by this either, as they were quite happy to take up quality time at work to talk nonsense. I really do not recommend this company at all. They are useless and rude. I have been appalled and offended at their practise.

Pure spam artists. Haven never letted a property anywhere near them and they will not stop spam calling me. The idiot calling me often doesn't even put the phone down or actually leave a message, so I end up with 10 voicemails of some moron just talking in an office. I would honestly never ... Don't start with Taylors. They are nothing but thieves. They promised ud a refund of £149.50 when sales completed but eversince no news and no answers for emails and calls. Avoid them if you want to save some headache. They barely contacted us during sales and we had to call them... Read Full Review

Taylors/Countrywide are prime examples of what's bad with Estate/Letting Agents. They're only interested up to the point of getting your money, once they have it they never respond to calls, ignore requests, and take money when they shouldn't. They also change your power supplier... Read Full Review

Promises of phone calls broken again and again, no one knows what is going on and you are promised good service but after saying you will buy, they want to wash their hands of you. May I remind them that they have two clients for every purchase. The seller, who is PAYING them, and the purchaser... Read Full Review
Take an interest in ensuring a sale actually goes through in a reasonable period. Don't rely on one good person in the office Phone back when you say you will Stop being a bunch of bad salesmen. We handed you this on a plate and still you failed. Think about the bigger picture of repeat custom

Attempted to view two properties in the bedford area. Got the usual "so when can we book you in to see our mortgage advisor?" and as soon as I mentioned I was already sorted, he lost interest. After a few chasing calls, so did I. The people who've selected Taylors to sell their house... Read Full Review
Just been honest and told me they weren't interested in any viewings unless we used their mortgage broker. Would\'ve saved me phone calls.

These guys are terrible. I've just caught them screening people looking to view their properties. Twice i was told properties i was interested in were sold, and then on getting my wife to phone separately they became available. So if you're looking to sell to them for all you know you have... I think the agents behaviour is unacceptable -they also aggresively push their mortgage brokers
