I was an agent for 37 years, now retired. I confess to a dim view of many of those I meet in the industry today. I helped my son and fiancé buy this house having failed to buy an earlier house due to the vendor's ignorance and bullying. The agent on that occasion did nothing to help so we pulled out. On this occasion we had another difficult vendor but this time Scott and Luke took control and managed the situation through excellent communication. They interfaced between us in a totally professional and effective way, understanding the issues that presented themselves and helping to explain those to the vendor - who appeared to have a short fuse. Scott and Luke did us a favour, but they did their client a bigger favour by softening the vendor's unreasonable attitude. We weren't in the mood for more bullying. I would commend Scott and Luke for their professionalism, helpful attitude and ability to get the job done and for realising that it takes two to Tango - in other words, although they were always acting for their vendor, they were still able to keep us engaged and happy. Brilliant!
