Keylets are an absoloute joke! Would under no circumstances would I ever rent a house that had anything to do with them again! On moving in of course they where great! Take your money fine, then when they have to come out and do an inspection with you for the inventory they do not show. Throughout the rental period we had a number of problems which key-lets advised us to deal with our landlord, which was fine, and when we gave our notice which had been a short assured tenancy we where then told that we did not hand in our notice to them, they no longer had anything to do with our house so we wrote to the landlord who then advised us we hd to give 2 months notice which we where not aware of but did as they wanted. On moving out we where to hand in the keys to the office we picked them up, and wait 2 weeks to hear how we go our deposit back. Over 2 weeks later we called Keylets who said call your landlord so wecalled our landlord who said he had handed all responsiblity to Key-Lets for this. Argh! When we called Keylets again they admitted nobody had inspected the house and they where holding the deposit until this had happened! When finally we where to get our deposit back they then told us that the grill was missing from the oven, there never was one and was not in the inventory and proceded to charge £92 for a grill. and £120 for carpet cleaning, which we where not made away of our how they felt that was needed and ontop of that a admin fee was charged! And then not put into our bank as they didnt have the details so upon phoning them again we eventually got it back. Thats when we thought thank goodness this ordeal is over, or not, last month we recieved a bill from our local council requesting a council tax bill for 4 months after we have moved out. We phoned to let them know that we had moved out of this address and they said that the letting agent had to let them know this as they had wrote a letter to explain that we had been there until this date, we are still awaiting an outcome of this. The letting agents we are now with are incredible and so organised unlike this bunch of people who think they know how to run a letting agency!!!

28 May 2016I totally agree, they are a nightmare, we had the worst experience ever, on viewing the property a bungalow, he said maybe leave the wheelchair there ha no as it is for a wheelchair user to rent the property, then on asking to see the garden the guy said just look out the window, then on requesting application form which stated you could leave down a holding deposit will they checked it out, he then went on to tell us that he is the owner off Key Let's and it would not be fair to other 2 coming later, so the are false advertising as far as we had in front of us if interested pay and first come but he did not like the wheelchair, on leaving the property I asked if we could follow him to office to put holding deposit down, he said what's happened to him relating to my Son in the wheelchair, I replied he has just had a spine operation which we told the lass in office yesterday hence looking for a shower room he the disgustingly said which shocked me an was bordering on discrimination who will pay if he dies/passes away, I said its me it would be paying, anyone renting could be hit with a bus before that would happen, I told him he should look at himself and money doesn't make the lady or gentleman which he is not but manners do which he had none, so stay clear, I returned to the house to see if I could find out who is letting through them to let them now.

No calls back when requested, sheriff officers at your door for a notice to quit although all rent is up to date and no payments ever missed instead of a simple phone call to advise the landlord wants the property back. Items breaking down in the property never fixed, Myself and my children nearly ... Read Full Review

Moving internationally is not easy. With Key-Lets my questions were answered quickly and thoroughly even if those questions required them to make international calls. After working with this company I simply chose a home they offered, over others I'd managed to find myself; in large part, because ... Read Full Review

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
