Hi Simon & Michael, I wanted to send you a brief email with regards to my disappointment and frustrations working with your Michael Robinson & Jackson office in Strood, Kent. Its with great disappointment that I have to write this email, but here goes. Over the last 4 years I have rented a property through this estate agent, and been a long serving tenant to the landlords that own the property. on the 23rd of December I get a letter through my post, which unfortunately I did not get to read intill beginning of January as was with my family in a different country, On my return I read the letter stating that I needed to vacate the property by the end of February, which to me is extremely difficult notice period to adhere to with the time I have remaining to find a property and move move belongings, baring in mind Christmas is hard enough as it is. You would of thought that you being the professional business you say you are on the website would make you believe that your staff do this. I think you need to take a big look and focus on the office you have in Strood. In practice, our staff go to great lengths to deliver the best results for our clients. They are a formidable sales, lettings and mortgage teamworking in a tough competitive market, but they are always friendly, approachable and pleasant to deal with. Most of our staff grew up in the area, so appreciate that behind every sale is a ‘human story', something we feel is very important to the way the company is run – it is often remarked that we "are nice people to do business with". Our reputation as a trusted estate agency means we are a market leader in South East London and Kent. We now have 30 branches and departments covering an extensive area, with Robinson Jackson offices from Sydenham to Dartford, and Robinson Michael & Jackson branches covering Gravesham, the Medway and Swale. My dealings I have had with Samantha have been pretty much appalling to the point I would say I am 100% positive I will never buy a property through you. Some of the areas I experienced that are poor would be the following; 1. Lack of communication 2. Attitude 3. Problem solving( example - trying to find me another property for rental) that's your jobs 4. Promises undelivered I wanted to make you aware of these frustrations as its only fair on others that may have to go through this experience like I have had too. I also wanted to let you know the following over the last 4 years I have received hundreds of debt letters with the landlords name on them, which I had to consistently have to drop to the Swanscombe offices in Kent. Your team never did anything about it in terms of stopping this coming to the address I was renting. Also you need to think about the mortgage brokers you work with. They are liars and useless when giving information to first time buyers. I know this as I have had several now with major banks. I don't expect you to email back. But I very much hope you take this email and do something with it. ( Not throw it in the bin)
