Gari Holden has to be the rudest agent we have ever come across. She was practically shouting on the telephone and was of no help in order to allow the sale to proceed / complete. Her total ignorance on how to deal with the general public is astounding and she should not be allowed to be a branch manager (which she relished in telling me!). She was rude about the other agent and also the solicitors, who she blamed for the hold up. Her behaviour was totally unprofessional. She has been ignoring the numerous calls from my Agent, and has been as unhelpful as possible. We had contacted her as she is dealing with the sale at the bottom of the chain and we are at the top. For weeks now her customer (for various reasons) has apparently held the Exchange date and rather than try and calm the situation, Gari has aggravated it by ignoring calls and not dealing with the situation. As a minimum she only had to be polite whilst talking to us to explain that she was dealing with the matter! Her manners were intolerable and when I asked her to stop being so rude, she felt she was dealing with the situation in this manner as she was "fed up of being chased by everyone". Now as an agent, her job is to be chasing and to be chased. Whilst I remained as calm as possible, this seemed to infuriate her even more, which has led me to make this formal complaint. Her rudeness and unbearable sarcastic manner was uncalled for, when all we had done was ask for an update! We would never recommend this agent to anyone and she should be banned / struck off from professional bodies.

11 Dec 2014I have dealt with Mrs Holden on numerous occasions and would trust no one else to sell my property. Her knowledge of the area and expertise when it comes to buying and selling property is second to none. I find your comments most confusing and to be honest rude. I cannot recommend her enough as an agent, although I have not dealt with her whilst at Connells, I have ALWAYS used her as my agent when buying and selling property. I find your comments offensive actually, how can you speak of someone like that that you barely know. I suggest you remove this post as Mrs Holden is a very fine estate agent. Merry Christmas

23 Dec 2014Ofcourse Michael Pinckers would have such an opposing opinion towards this review namely to protect the reputation of said agent whom so happens to also be his facebook friend too hahaha better not have any negative things to say about your negative experiences with Connells if they're got personal facebook friends to come here and comment on their behalf to exclaim what good people/workers they really are!

We had a similar experience as several others who have left negative feedback. We were misled and lied to about a house they were selling. Gari, Miles and Ruben were very good at looking after us and kept the chain together through 2 buyer dropouts. Just avoid this lot, they make no effort to sell your house, they don't communicate with you or prospective buyers.
