W M BROWN MARKETED MY PROPERTY WITHOUT MY AGREEMENT AND DISCLOSED THE AUCTION RESERVE PRICE TO BOOT! This case goes back to December 2012 where I'd commissioned W M Brown to sell my property by auction. It failed to sell, but two months further on I was horrified to discover they had actively continued to market it, entirely without my consent, and to cap it off they'd also disclosed the auction reserve price !! Needless to say this has caused irreversible damage to my marketing plans. I have been battling to get compensation ever since, firstly with Connells - their complaint department and subsequently took up with Ombudsman services. At time of writing it's December 2014 and it is still unresolved! W M BROWN ARE WITHOUT DOUBT THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.
Nothing - the damage has been done.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
