Allen and Harris came out to value our property at our request. We were told to expect between £160,000 - £170,000. We then considered part exchange and when asked by the part exchange agents their value changed dramatically to £145,000. What ever the correct value they obviously are willing to be dishonest either to us or the part exchange agents to secure business. Unsurprisingly we will be using another agent to sell our property. Very disappointing.
Agent could have been consistent with their valuation.

Agent could have been consistent with their valuation.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
