What a shambles!!! After renting a beautiful house, we always paid rent on time and never had a problem until we needed help! After learning our log burner was dangerous and had actually been condemned the agents sent a burner specialist round to look at it (great!) we were then told actually both the log burner and the open fire in the lounge should not be used at all! This was the start of our hell!! At this time it was summer we told john d wood it wasn't such an issue now but this would needed to be fixed by winter as we have no other form of heating!! There are afew electric heaters but guess what there mostly broken too!! We are now November and after endless phone calls emails back and forwards to john d wood, there property maintenance and the landlord we are freezing cold with 2 children waking up most nights as there cold!!!! It's warmer outside most of the time! John d wood say they have done all they can and to just wait for the landlord who clearly doesn't want to spend his money! And john d wood have no intention of making him as they clearly don't want to Lose there cut! It's a disgrace and may I add against human rights! Half the time im sure the office ignore my calls as your lucky if you get an answer let alone a reply within 3 days!! I would never rent though john d wood, I understand there's only so much they can do but if they are happy renting out a property like this to a family it's disgusting and when it comes to this extreme they should be doing a lot more!!

Much a similar experience to others unfortunately. This company strung as along over a sale for weeks and weeks, eventually selling to a developer that offered nowhere near the amount we offered instead of a local family who are heavily involved in the community. I must say that I agree with all of the other reviewers, Very dissatisfied with non existent service of Kat Mitchell, the letting manger. She always says that she will chase up a problem with no result. Email responses are non existent and phone calls are only returned if you rattle the head... Read Full Review
