I purchased a property through Wilson Peacock Estate Agents. 1) Viewing the property: booked a time to see the property, Estate Agent turned up over half hour late, then proceeded to hover around like a useless spare part & could not answer my questions about the local area. 2) Offer on house accepted.....was dealing with the branch manager this time. He started off nice, then as time went on, the hassling started.....me (home, work & mobile numbers, emails, my solicitor)....would not accept the vendors had to provide the required information, thought it was me to chase it up. Nuhuh! Exchange of contracts: I transferred my large sum of money over, where I was assured I would have my moving date confirmed by COB, not until 48hrs later. 3) Completion: turned up at the house one morning (wasn't living there straight away), & the downpipe had come down.....the idiotic boardsman had tucked the board on the down pipe....which in the high winds, acted like a sail. Never again will I use this firm - a complete shambles.
Use people skills - back off when I\'m at work. Get the vendors to take some responsibility

Use people skills - back off when I\'m at work. Get the vendors to take some responsibility
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
