Hunters, their name pays tribute to their business practice their prey being students. Other than lying to us on a number of occasions. They also try and take advantage of their Tenant and students who commonly don't know their rights, by entering the property without permission. Our landlord entered our property without permission we decided to bolt the door so that it would not continue without our consent. A worker used by hunters then attempted to break our door down in order to start renovations which led to basic necessities being unavailable including toilet kitchen bath/shower washing machine. When we contacted hunters about this they were not concerned that one of the landlords had done this all they cared about was money they basically denied all knowledge and then continued to ignore our concerns. despite the fact we had pictures of the damage done to the door. I wanted to take this to court but I'm a student I'm in my last year of university and I really don't have the time to go through such an ordeal.
What agent could do to change your mind?
In order for these people to improve there practice would require a complete turn around in idelolgy its clear that their whole business practice is to put their landlords first in all circumstances. They will lie and cheat to get the most out of their tennants including planing so that things that were wrong in the first place will be used at the end to withhold deposits.

Fees would be acceptable even though it is un fairly high due to us being students but this is the same with all agents, however the fees are unacceptable in this case due to hunters terrible attitude and abuse of power

They need to realise they cannot prey on Students who do not know their rights.
