We started renting a property that before we even stepped foot in the place had a leaking roof, dodgy electrics in a toilet, an unsafe fireplace. We are professional people who pride ourself on our home and had only had to rent while we did up another property. My wife was pregnant and we had two children already. It has been horrendous. They have left us in a house with water falling through the ceiling and a new born. They havent responded to our claims for abatement and damage to items and now we have moved on and left the house in a better state than when we arrived the landlord is asking for money from us to tidy up his garden. His garden needs to be mowed because he has visted the property 2 weeks after we moved out. This lettings agent has done nothing to support us and write ridiculous emails with claims for money when the entire time we lived in a house unfit for habitation. They have caused us stressed, i have had to take time off work to fix problems to make the house safe for my children and now we are having to fight our corner to get a deposit back. The landlord and this management company should be ashamed and i hope they have trouble sleeping at night. Disgrace.
