Tenancy fees are generally too high and do not represent value for money. However, East of Exe fees were at the lower end of the scale and therefore less unreasonable than other agents we have dealt with.

Let a six month lease to us but after 30 days, we were told the land lord wanted the house back. We were constantly disturbed day and night by the landlord turning up, un-scheduled at the property, and even let themselves in. The agents gave no support or assistance. We had a horrible experience with East of Exe. From beginning to end they neglected their contractual responsibilities until the last possible moment. Problems with the property throughout my tenancy which East of Exe did not rush to improve. When Moving from property they caused issues leaving me stuck between properties unable to finish the move and staying on a friends sofa for 5 days whilst the deposit was refunded the slowest manner... What agent could do to change your mind?
been more communicative and proactive... fixed issues before they turned into huge water leaks and mould problems... refunded the deposit when they said they would and not 5 days later!
