Felt scammed and like I was sent on a wild goose chase. My reference failed because they don't do a thorough enough check all was needed was a call to ask what happened.(I changed contract in November/December but where was an option where I could actually give details?) Wouldn't tell us the issue, constantly lied/sugar coated it. Got told to call all these places to find out it wasn't to do with them, It was the estate agents. Luckily HomeLet actually give us the information. Now they won't even hold a meeting with me and my partner to rectify this and wouldn't give us our holding fee money back although it's not our fault. Would not recommend.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
