This company took a holding deposit of £920 and then claimed that we failed reference checks and that £702 would be deducted for agency fees. There is no evidence that reference checks took place despite me repeatedly asking for this information -furthermore it is beyond unlikely that we would have failed these reports given we have high income jobs, no previous credit history etc... To add insult to injury, 6 months later and the £218 difference has still not been returned.

14 Nov 2014This review is not a true review, actually this person does not even exist. We have never dealt with this individual ever in our business. This is clearly a competitor who is trying their best to create negativity for the business. Please can you show or prove the allegation about your holding deposit otherwise if you do not respond then everyone knows that it is indeed false and misleading. I am Zak the office manager and I invite you to address this with me if you are true to your word.

18 Sept 2015Hi Zak, apologies I've only just logged on to this site again as this issue is on my mind given that I have finally won my case with the Property Ombudsman, over 18 months after the ordeal... Hardly surprising though that you are still refusing to pay the award even though the deadline with the TPO was last Friday. I'm not surprised either that you're claiming I don't exist as you haven't replied to any emails since April 2014 and every time I call up you either hang up or if I try to leave a message nobody calls me back. Believe me when I say I am in this for the long haul and I will be getting my money back. As requested I am also more than happy to share all of the email history so as to forewarn any future prospective tenants who might come across this review**

I cannot stress strongly enough that you avoid this estate agent at all costs. They are a sham of a company, highly unprofessional, rude and just plain liars. They will say anything to get your business, but do not trust them. They lied to me from beginning to end. They took a month to get the tenant in. They charged double the initially agreed fees, for a second year on the contract. They held the money for weeks, and still have not released the money ... Read Full Review
