![]() AVOID. on 24th Feb 2016 1 Star Review I cannot stress strongly enough that you avoid this estate agent at all costs. They are a sham of a company, highly unprofessional, rude and just plain liars. Be wary of other reviews detailing excellence, wouldn't surprise me if they wrote them themselves.

![]() XXX on 1st Nov 2015 1 Star Review After I moved out, Duncan Chase was not able to refund my deposit. I am waiting for a quarter of a year now. Even worse than this fact itself is that when you call them to ask, they cannot say anything and promise a call back but this call never happens. They just don't give a s*t about their customers.

![]() Arran on 11th Sep 2014 1 Star Review Trust this agency at your peril. First, they took a holding deposit from myself and three other prospective tenants. The proceedings from this point onwards were farcical. Bode is unbelievably incompetent, he hassled us for details which he had already been sent and his response when we corrected him was that 'the office has been busy recently'.

![]() palmercd on 19th Aug 2014 1 Star Review This company took a holding deposit of £920 and then claimed that we failed reference checks and that £702 would be deducted for agency fees. There is no evidence that reference checks took place despite me repeatedly asking for this information -furthermore it is beyond unlikely that we would have failed these reports given we have high income jobs, no previous credit history etc... To add insult to injury, 6 months later and the £218 difference has still not been returned.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
