I was shown a property at the end of June and the agent promised to send me details of fees etc the next day - I am still waiting. I also sent a few enquiries via Rightmove asking about pets and children etc and never received any responses. In the middle of July I rang and complained about how there had been no response and no one had been in touch. The lady I spoke to said that she would pass it on to Alison who would call me back - still waiting for that call. I then chased them again and asked about 3 properties via their contact form and Richard sent me an email about 2 of the properties and asked me if I wanted to view one of them. I rang to discuss the viewing and Richard was out so I left a message for him to call me back I am still waiting even though it was the end of July/beginning of August. As I had not heard anything I put a complaint into the Head of Rentals who was going to look into the situation and speak to those involved. That was approximately 2 weeks ago and I have still not heard a thing. No matter how busy they are this total breakdown of customer service is disgusting. They obviously do not want to let me a property - perhaps they give a better service to USAF applicants but ALL applicants should be treated with good customer service and this has not been the case with me.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
