Do not I repeat do not buy a house from Places for people they are conmen . Do not buy or rent a house in brooklands . I recently was given a flat by places for people they pretended to give me a dream home.. they are criminals they let me move into a property in a close which was quiet and relaxed. One day I came back from work the close had been opened up to fast flowing traffic without ever telling the residents that this was going to be done.this was definitely pre pla I realized that there is no insulation in the walls they have diverted the plumbing for the sewers underneath the flat and the building smells like a sewer at times it comes from the drains underneath the building.they use outdated boilers and use 240 litre water tanks in 1 bed flats instead of using combi boilers. my road is now a busy high street it's the worst noise I have ever experienced they waited untill all houses were sold and rented on my road fen street mk10 before opening up the road. I have been living here for 10 years the last 5 years have been painful to the point of despair. The buildings have no insulation my flat is freezing in the winter over 40 in the summer . I can count every car and van and hgv that drives past with my windows and doors closed the house shakes when a bus passes I can hear people speaking 2 floors down and hear downstairs sneeze I can not open the windows or doors due to noise. when it's hot I can not open windows the noise is unbearable. I get woken up every day from the traffic outside The floors have moved and wind comes through the floors the balcony doors and the double glazing does not work in the summer the ants find there way in easily. Places for people build the worst properties I think I would have a more relaxed life living in a refugee camp. now I am trapped and to be honest I don't know what to do I think I would be better off being homeless . Seriously do not buy a house from places for people they will sell you a dream and rip you off.if you are thinking of buying from places for people do a survey ask the locals They do not care they are conmen they just want your money .they are doing it again selling houses and not informing people that they will be opening up the road to a main road again on the next development If you need more proof look at the condition of the first flats built on Fen street have a look at numbers 35 to 45 because that is what your new house will look like and sound like. They have used Woden windows and doors which are useless they only have a 10 year shelf life Do not use places for people if you want a dream home they just do not care 5 years later you will regret it and your money will be lost.
